Das erste Mal nahm ich an einer Modellbauausstellung im Norden Deutschlands teil und ich bin froh diese Erfahrung habe machen zu dürfen. Ausstellungen unterscheiden sich ja von Region zu Region und man weiß nie welchen modellbauerischen Standard man erwarten darf - aber hier war er doch überwiegend sehr hoch. Auch die Aussteller gingen sehr familiär miteinander um und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, lustig und informativ. Die Mitglieder des German Fighter Wing Clubs kümmerten sich aufopfernd um Speis und Trank, Tombola und Verkauf, Kinderbasteln und -malen und natürlich um die Aussteller. Sehr anregende Gespräche konnten trotz dialektischer Unterschiede geführt werden und ich habe auch neue Techniken erlernt und neue Ideen mit nach Hause genommen. Nach dem Motto: "Modellbau verbindet" habe ich hier viele Freunde gefunden. Alles in Allem: Daumen hoch - und ich würde dies gerne wiederholen.
